Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and 10+ years in aerospace/defense systems engineering.
• Experience with DoD/Space Force acquisition programs and DoD lifecycle policies.
• Strong writing, briefing, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with government, contractor, and leadership stakeholders.
• Preference for Master’s degree and MBSE/Digital Engineering familiarity.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior aerospace systems engineering and technical advisory support across the acquisition lifecycle.
• Support requirements management, validation, verification, and configuration control.
• Conduct system-of-systems engineering across space, ground, launch, and ops segments.
• Advance architecture with MBSE, Digital Engineering, and mission-thread analysis.
• Review contractor engineering products and prepare acquisition documentation.
• Mentor junior engineers and coordinate cross-functional teams.
