Job summary

Ursa Major seeks an Aerospace Senior Facilities Plumber to maintain and improve critical facility plumbing and mechanical infrastructure at our Colorado facilities. You will support capital expansion projects, coordinate specialty contractors, and ensure compliance with codes and standards.

The role involves preventive maintenance, equipment moves, grounds maintenance, snow removal, and event support within a fast-paced aerospace manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 5–8 years of progressively responsible experience in commercial or industrial plumbing, manufacturing, or industrial maintenance.
• Advanced knowledge of commercial plumbing systems, utility infrastructure, and industrial piping.
• Experience reading plumbing, mechanical, and engineering drawings.
• Experience with natural gas, compressed air, domestic water, sanitary sewer, pumps, valves, and process piping.
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain commercial and industrial plumbing systems and related equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance across multiple worksites for plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, and utility systems to maximize facility uptime.
• Install and repair copper, PVC, CPVC, PEX, cast iron, stainless steel, threaded, grooved, brazed, and welded piping systems.
• Diagnose leaks, pressure issues, drainage problems, and equipment failures using systematic troubleshooting.
• Oversee plumbing contractors, excavation contractors, fire protection contractors and other trades.
