Acadian Contractors, Inc. is seeking a Senior Fabrication Manager to oversee fabrication operations supporting aerospace construction, manufacturing, and specialized project requirements in Cocoa, FL.

You will manage production activities, supervision of fabrication staff, schedules, quality standards, and shop operations to ensure safe, efficient project delivery. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in metal fabrication, welding, structural steel, and production management, with strong leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.
• Minimum of 10 years' experience managing fabrication operations in industrial, aerospace, structural steel, manufacturing, or heavy construction.
• Experience leading fabrication teams, supervisors, and skilled craft personnel.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, weld symbols, bills of materials, and fabrication specifications.
• Familiarity with AWS, ASME, or other relevant industry codes and standards.

Responsabilités

• Oversee daily fabrication operations to ensure production activities meet project specifications, schedules, budgets, and quality requirements.
• Manage fabrication workflows, production priorities, labor allocation, resource planning, and equipment utilization across multiple projects.
• Review engineering drawings, blueprints, shop drawings, bills of materials, and fabrication specifications to ensure accurate execution.
• Coordinate cutting, fitting, welding, assembly, machining, and other fabrication processes as required.
• Lead, supervise, and develop fabrication supervisors, foremen, welders, fitters, fabricators, and other production personnel.
• Establish production goals, monitor employee performance, and maintain accountability for productivity, workmanship, and schedule adherence.
