Versar Global Solutions is seeking an Aerospace Engineering and Operations Technician to support the U.S. Coast Guard Aviation Logistics Center in Elizabeth City, NC.

Qualifications

• Minimum of fifteen (15) years’ airframe and power plant maintenance experience.
• Minimum of three (3) years in aircraft maintenance management of airframe and power plant.
• Minimum of four (4) years of demonstrated minimum experience of aircraft fleet management to include safety of flight release determination.
• Demonstrated knowledge of CN-235 and HC-144 airframes; may be substituted by fixed wing/turbo prop experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide Aeronautical Engineering technical management; liaise with MRS Lead Engineer and Engineering Officer.
• Research HC-144 engineering projects and provide final design and/or redesign solutions.
• Create structural damage maps and determine classifications (Primary/Secondary/Tertiary/FCBS).
• Prepare airframe structural repair plans and modification designs.
• Prepare engineering memos documenting technical issues and OEM guidance.
