Job summary

Versar Global Solutions seeks an Aerospace Engineering and Operations Technician to support the U.S. Coast Guard Aviation Logistics Center.

You will provide technical management for the MRS HC-144 product line, liaise with government and OEM representatives, and oversee structural repair planning and propulsion systems management. Qualifications

• 15+ years airframe and power plant maintenance experience.
• 3+ years in aircraft maintenance management.
• 4+ years fleet management experience including safety of flight release.

Responsibilities

• Provide Aeronautical Engineering technical management; refer to MRS Lead Engineer for technical direction.
• Research HC-144 engineering projects and supply substantiation data for redesigns and reports.
• Create structural damage maps and determine classifications (Primary/Secondary/Tertiary/FCBS).
• Develop airframe repair plans and modification schemes meeting OEM criteria.
• Prepare engineering memos documenting issues and OEM responses.
