Job summary

CFD Research Corporation is seeking an experienced aerospace engineer to support R&D at our Engineering Test Center near Huntsville, AL. The role involves conceptual design, prototyping, and testing for programs with Army, Air Force, and Navy, including hypersonic ground tests and propulsion tasks.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering with 5+ years of experience; a Master's degree and familiarity with AS9100 are a plus. Onsite work in Hollywood, AL is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or similar STEM discipline required; 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Master's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering desirable.

Responsibilities

• Support R&D at the Engineering Test Center with conceptual design, prototyping and testing.
• Contribute to Army, Air Force and Navy programs across hypersonic tests and propulsion.
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to develop flight hardware.
