Job summary

CFD Research Corporation in Hollywood, AL seeks a CAD Design Engineer to join our team and drive design, development and integration of complex systems for government and commercial customers. You will work on concept development, prototyping, and testing, coordinating with engineering and production to ensure manufacturability.

A BS in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering and 5+ years of related experience are required. US citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret Clearance are essential.

Qualifications

• US citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a Secret Clearance.
• Experience designing and developing prototype hardware.
• SolidWorks or other CAD experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development and integration of complex systems for customers.
• Facilitate collaboration between engineering and production/prototyping teams.
• Ensure designs are manufacturable using milling and turning operations.
