Job summary

LifePort is seeking an Engineering Full Time Professional in Woodland, WA to lead engineering projects from concept through delivery. You will manage design, testing, and documentation, coordinating with internal teams and external customers.

The role requires a BS in Mechanical or Aerospace and 10–20 years of experience, with familiarity in FAA standards, SolidWorks, and MS Project. Proficiency with the MS Office suite is expected, along with strong organizational and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of FAA and MIL testing standards.

• Experience in SolidWorks and Enterprise PDM, or equivalent.
• Working knowledge of aerospace materials and standards.

Responsibilities

• Directs, coordinates, and exercises functional authority for planning, organization, control, integration, and completion of engineering projects.
• Conceptual design of new products and ideas to improve existing products.
• Create and track schedules using Microsoft Project, or equivalent.
• Manage projects from initial drawing release to liaison support and product delivery.
• Maintain metrics to track budget and schedule requirements.
• Develop and present concepts/products to internal and external customers.
• Create test plans, conduct testing and document results.
• Reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles and standards.
