Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in the United States seeks a Senior Engineer to oversee concept to FAA certification, design, manufacturing and first customer adoption.

You will collaborate with FAA DERs, lead engineering teams, develop documentation, and ensure airworthiness and safety. On-site at Tri-Cities, Tennessee, with occasional travel. The role requires aerospace degree, leadership, and hands-on experience with metal alloys and SolidWorks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace Engineering or related field.
• Master's degree or relevant certification preferred.
• Proven experience in mechanical aerospace parts.
• Proven experience in metallurgical materials science, especially high performance alloys.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
• Proven team leadership and development experience.
• Knowledge of industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Manages full engineering process of aircraft components per FAA regs and safety standards.
• Develops plans with timelines, milestones, and resource allocation to meet schedules.
• Participates in weekly engineering meetings to track progress.
• Grow to SME and lead designer on all project aspects.
• Educates company staff on project details and requirements.
• Collaborates cross-functionally to ensure organizational alignment.
• Maintains detailed engineering documentation and manuals.
