Qualifications

• 5 years of experience as an electrical technician in Aviation, Aerospace or similar industry.
• Superior technical skills and expertise in avionics and aircraft subsystems operation and troubleshooting.
• Hands on experience cutting, splicing and crimping wires to fabricate a wide variety of harnesses types.
• Extreme attention to detail and high expectations for quality technical work.
• Ability to replace various subsystems components.
• A safety conscious mindset for ensuring the wellbeing of all working in the labs.
• Set an example for a high standard of technical work for other team members.

Responsibilities

• Help build aircraft subsystems integration test labs
• Read wiring diagrams and schematics, and have the ability to understand common electrical symbols and components
• Repair and replace aircraft subsystem components in a lab environment
• Maintain lab documentation for lab modifications, repairs and upgrades
• Inspect the work of other technicians to ensure quality and conformity with design specifications
• Fabricate and ring-out wiring harnesses for Aerospace Industry Standards.
