RTX’s ESTO team in the United States seeks a Principal Design Engineer to support production quality, cost reduction, and manufacturability improvements for commercial and military aerospace programs. You will drive root-cause analysis, engineering changes, and cross-functional collaboration across operations, quality, and procurement to resolve technical issues.

You will lead first article reviews, support continuous improvement, and present status to CIPTs and program management while

Qualifikationen

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering; 8+ years relevant experience, or advanced degree with 5+ years experience.
Experience with mechanical engineering, design, manufacturing, production support, or related discipline.

Aufgaben

Plan and manage corrective-action activities associated with QNs, cost reduction, and production support.
Develop Class II engineering change packages using Pro-Cert methodology.
Lead Engineering First Piece Reviews at suppliers and cost-of-poor-quality initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement product and process improvements.
Present technical content and program status to management and capture lessons learned.
