Job summary

JP Donovan Construction is seeking an experienced Superintendent to lead field operations on large, fast-paced aerospace projects in the Cape Canaveral area. You will own field management for one major project at a time, directing self-perform crews and subcontractors, while partnering with the Project Manager on overall execution.

The role requires a minimum of 10 years in construction supervision on complex industrial and heavy civil projects, with proven leadership, scheduling, and safety

Qualifications

• 10+ years of progressive construction supervision on large, complex projects.
• Lead superintendent on projects of $20M+ value.
• Manage self-perform crews and multiple subcontractors simultaneously.
• Strong scheduling, sequencing, and production management abilities.
• Pass background check and obtain security badges for KSC/CCSFS.

Responsibilities

• Serve as senior on-site leader for field operations from mobilization through closeout.
• Coordinate self-perform crews, subcontractors, and vendors with PM input.
• Develop field execution plans and three-week look-ahead schedules.
• Drive production to meet master schedule and resolve constraints.
• Enforce safety programs and ensure compliance with codes and site requirements.
• Maintain daily reports, logs, and field documentation.
• Represent JP Donovan in meetings with owners, government and clients.
