Job summary

Relativity Space, Inc. in Long Beach, CA is seeking a seasoned composites technician to lay up flight and development hardware using advanced prepregs and materials.

You will work closely with manufacturing engineers to optimize processes, ensure quality, and support the Terran R program. The role requires 5+ years of aerospace composites experience, strong communication skills, and hands-on ability with calibrated tools and MES systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of composites manufacturing experience in aerospace, automotive, or related industries.
• Ability to communicate effectively with engineering and production teams.
• Experience setting up and operating calibrated tools and precision measuring equipment.
• Experience documenting manufacturing operations in MES or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Lay up flight and development composites hardware using carbon and fiberglass prepregs, honeycomb cores, and adhesives.
• Operate and maintain processes with vacuum bagging films, laser projection systems, and MES software.
• Collaborate with production and manufacturing engineers to document and improve processes.
• Uphold Relativity Space safety standards and shop cleanliness.
• Foster an inclusive environment within the team.
