Job summary

Relativity Space is seeking a skilled composites manufacturing professional in Long Beach to lay up flight and development hardware using carbon and fiberglass prepregs, honeycomb cores, and adhesives. You will work with vacuum bagging, laser projection, and MES systems to document operations.

The role emphasizes collaboration with production and engineering teams to improve processes while upholding strict safety and cleanliness standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of composites manufacturing experience in aerospace, automotive, or related industries.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) with engineering and production.
• Ability to set up and operate calibrated tools and precision measuring equipment.
• Working experience with Manufacturing Execution System software to document manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Lay up flight and development composites hardware using carbon, fiberglass prepregs, honeycomb cores, and adhesives.
• Operate common aerospace composites tools and systems, including vacuum bagging and laser projection.
• Collaborate with production and manufacturing engineers to document and improve processes.
• Uphold Relativity Space safety and shop cleanliness standards.
• Foster an inclusive environment for all team members.
