Job summary

Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Staff Aeronautical Engineer - Test & Evaluation to join our team. This position is located in Rancho Bernardo, CA with an alternate location in Palmdale, CA.

Key responsibilities include leading test activities across hardware and software, collaborating with MBSE processes, and ensuring successful integration in lab environments. A BS in STEM with extensive experience or higher degrees, active US Secret clearance, and ability to obtain

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in a STEM discipline with 12 years of related experience or Master’s with 10 years or PhD with 8 years in systems.
• Active US Secret Government clearance with background investigation within past 6 years or Continuous Evaluation.
• Ability to obtain and maintain SAP clearance.
• Experience as Work Package Manager or CAM including IMS status, CAM forms, etc.

Responsibilities

• Lead test engineer for multiple small scope efforts.
• Develop and review System Test Management Plan.
• Collaborate with MBSE and engineering teams to integrate hardware/software in lab environments.
