Job summary

E-Frontiers in New York seeks an Aeron Solution Architect to own the technical excellence and architecture of high-performance trading systems for capital markets clients. You will contribute to the codebase on challenging delivery pieces and drive domain-aligned architectural decisions.

Responsibilities include defining scalable designs, promoting best practices, and mentoring engineers within a flexible hybrid working model that supports work-life balance and career growth.

Qualifications

• Significant professional experience in capital markets, developing software in Java with low-latency requirements.
• Experience using Aeron in high-performance scenarios within capital markets or digital assets.
• Experience with distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and replicated state machines.
• Strong communication skills and experience mentoring team members.

Responsibilities

• Be accountable for the success and technical excellence of solutions, including codebase contributions on challenging delivery aspects.
• Define performant and resilient architecture and detailed design based on domain needs.
• Advocate for best practices in design, development and testing, including separation of concerns and behavior-driven testing.
• Help define and facilitate the adoption of engineering standards across teams.
• Lead a team in adherence to software development lifecycle processes.
• Advocate for technical decisions to clients, team members and stakeholders.
• Coach engineers to grow and evolve their skills.
