Job summary

Akaasa Technologies in New York City is seeking a senior .NET Developer to build enterprise applications in a Capital Markets and Trading environment, with C#, .NET Core, Angular and/or React.

You will work with traders, quantitative analysts, and business stakeholders to deliver high-performance systems that support trading, pricing, risk, and market data, while participating in architecture, CI/CD, and agile practices.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional software development experience with C# and .NET.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications using C#, .NET, .NET Core, and ASP.NET Core.
• Build modern, responsive front-end applications using Angular and/or React.
• Develop RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed applications supporting trading and capital markets platforms.
• Collaborate with traders, portfolio managers, quantitative developers, and business stakeholders to translate trading requirements into scalable technology solutions.
• Develop applications supporting trade capture, order management, execution, pricing, positions, P&L, risk, and market data.
• Integrate applications with internal trading systems, market-data platforms, messaging systems, and third-party financial services.
• Work with real-time and high-volume data while maintaining performance, reliability, and scalability.
• Develop reusable UI components, services, APIs, and libraries using modern software engineering practices.
• Participate in architecture, design reviews, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Troubleshoot complex application, integration, performance, and production issues.
• Work in an Agile/Scrum environment and participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, retrospectives, and technical discussions.
• Partner with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and cloud or on-prem deployments.
