Job summary

FieldCore is seeking an Instrumentation & Controls Technician III to join the Gas Power field service team. You will disassemble, inspect, calibrate, test, and maintain field instruments and control systems on power plant equipment, performing complex repairs and scheduled maintenance.

The role requires travel internationally and domestically, strong interpretation of diagrams, and the ability to implement software upgrades. Fluent English and 4+ years of relevant experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in power plant maintenance or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in instrumentation, controls, installing and maintaining equipment.
• License or certification as required by law.
• Ability to understand and implement controls software upgrades.
• Willingness to travel internationally and domestically.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction on calibration, repair, and operation of instrumentation and controls.
• Produce professional reports as the main contact with customers.
• Implement upgrades to gas turbine controls systems, including software upgrades.
• Troubleshoot and test instruments after repairs.
• Document equipment condition and corrective actions.
• Read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and process diagrams.
• Use hand tools to perform field maintenance.
• Record daily inspections and maintenance activities per guidelines.
• Ensure field work complies with EHS guidelines and safety procedures.
