Job summary

Sigma Design in Everett, WA is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to own the design and certification of cockpit panels for commercial and military aircraft. Competitive salary levels across two bands reflect experience, with in-office schedule and leadership growth opportunities.

Qualifications

  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering or higher; 5+ years in aerospace or regulated environments.
  • Experience with high-reliability electronic hardware for aerospace/defense.
  • Strong digital/analog design and PCB layout skills.

Responsibilities

  • Spearhead the development of complex, high-reliability electronic hardware for aerospace and defense applications.
  • Translate high-level requirements into architectural concepts and associated low-level requirements.
  • Document and present your design performance, and acceptance criteria in design reviews.
  • Become a trusted technical expert, solving complex hardware problems through root cause analysis and impact assessment.
  • Mentor and provide guidance to a team of skilled engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Engage in special projects that push the boundaries of airborne electronics.
  • Perform hands-on troubleshooting and design verification of products.
