Job summary

Raymond James is seeking a Senior Advisor, Supervision to independently review and approve day‑to‑day money movement activity, partnering with advisors and internal teams to investigate concerns and determine actions. The role may cross-train into Dispute Resolution and Senior & At‑Risk Clients, with hybrid work and meaningful impact on risk controls.

The position emphasizes judgment, clear communication, and maintaining regulatory knowledge to identify trends and resolve complex account matters.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline and 3+ years in Supervision or financial services.
• Equivalent combination of experience/education may be considered.
• Licenses such as SIE, Series 7/9/10/24 preferred or obtainable.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve money movement transactions using regulations and policies.
• Identify inconsistencies, potential fraud, or exploitation and escalate as needed.
• Contact clients to verify disbursements meeting thresholds.
• Review ACH, SLOA, and Periodic Payment setups for client accounts.
• Monitor supervision inbox and escalate issues appropriately.
• Collaborate with advisors, branch leadership, Fraud, and other teams to resolve matters.
• Explain supervisory concerns and actions clearly to clients and colleagues.
• Maintain current knowledge of regulations and money movement risks.
• Investigate disputes involving senior or at-risk clients when assigned.
• Identify trends and opportunities to strengthen practices and controls.
• Own matters from initial review through documented resolution.
