Job summary

FINRA seeks a Senior Advisor: Market Regulation and Regulatory Service Agreement (RSA) to serve as a strategic regulatory advisor and subject matter expert on market structure, market regulation, and RSA matters. You will lead regulatory analysis, shape organizational positions, and coordinate across Regulatory Operations and enterprise stakeholders.

You will provide expert guidance to senior leadership on policy implications of new regulatory requirements and help translate complex developments

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree strongly preferred.
• 12+ years of progressive experience in securities regulation or related regulatory operations roles.
• Experience in market structure, trading surveillance, or exchange regulation.

Responsibilities

• Monitors and interprets regulatory developments related to market structure and regulation.
• Advises senior leadership on policy implications of new regulatory requirements.
• Prepares regulatory intelligence materials for diverse audiences.
• Represents Regulatory Operations in RSA meetings and strategic initiatives.
• Coordinates with policy teams to codify new requirements into policies and procedures.
• Advises on rulemaking, governance, and regulatory policy development.
