Role Description: The Senior Advisor, Healthcare Investment Banking & Capital Markets role will play a pivotal role in shaping the firm's strategic direction in healthcare investment banking. The position involves high-level advisory responsibilities, capital formation leadership, and oversight of complex financial transactions, including M&A, structured financings, and strategic partnerships. The ideal candidate will work closely with founders, executives, and capital partners to structure and execute transactions that drive transformative growth for healthcare organizations across provider services, pharmaceutical development, medical technology, and digital health innovations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5+ years of healthcare investment banking experience with demonstrated expertise in healthcare transactions
- Professional with proven capital markets expertise exceeding $500M in aggregate healthcare transaction volume
- Deep understanding of healthcare industry dynamics, regulatory environment, and current market trends
- Proven track record of successfully closing healthcare M&A transactions, capital raises, and restructurings
- Extensive network of healthcare industry relationships and investor connections
- Experience advising healthcare providers, pharmaceutical companies, medical device manufacturers, or healthcare technology firms
- Leadership, decision-making, and exceptional communication skills
- Strategic thinking and long-term planning abilities with healthcare sector focus
What We’re Looking For:
- Demonstrated track record exceeding $500M in aggregate healthcare transaction value, with expertise across the full spectrum of healthcare capital markets activities
- Active FINRA licensure (Series 79, 63, or equivalent regulatory credentials)
- Demonstrable track record of successful capital procurement from High-Net-Worth Individuals, Family Offices, Venture Capital firms, and Growth Equity institutions
- Extensive experience leading capital raises across the investment spectrum, from Series A through pre-IPO and institutional growth rounds
- Consistent historical performance managing transactions ranging from $10M to $500M+
- Portfolio of 5+ healthcare companies for which you have successfully secured significant capital investment
- Distinguished reputation for efficient execution, professional demeanor, and access to an established, high-caliber investor network with demonstrated capital deployment capabilities
What we'll ask for:
- Professional References: Minimum of 2-3 references from healthcare company founders or executives for whom you have successfully secured capital
- Transaction Record: Comprehensive deal sheet detailing key healthcare transactions led or supported, including capital structure, investor composition, and strategic outcomes
- Regulatory Information: Current CRD number and active license verification details
- Transaction Parameters: Documentation of average deal size, total transaction volume, and preferred healthcare transaction profile (subsector specialization, stage preference, etc.)
- Investor Network Analysis: High-level overview of your healthcare investor relationships, including institutional categories, geographic distribution, and investment parameters (non-confidential information acceptable)
