Public Sector Enabling Capabilities Organization (ECO)

This organization supports Huron at the enterprise level through six functions: sales operations, sales enablement, government and policy relations, contracts management, engagement management, and engagement assurance. Engagement management partners with delivery teams to execute contracts in compliance with regulations and policies.

Position: Public Sector PMO Director

The director oversees the public sector engagement portfolio, including federal, state, local, and tribal projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and according to standards. The role reports to the Public Sector PMO leader and collaborates with project managers, corporate functions, and engagement leaders.

Duties & Responsibilities
  1. Oversee project portfolios to ensure successful delivery and methodology adherence.
  2. Review contracts prior to signing to assess complexity and assign to appropriate project managers.
  3. Facilitate handovers between sales and project teams.
  4. Support business development with pricing, contract modifications, and language.
  5. Monitor sales pipeline and resource planning.
  6. Analyze contract requirements and coordinate process improvements for compliance.
  7. Act as escalation point for project risks and issues.
  8. Manage highly complex engagements or contracts.
  9. Collaborate with quality assurance resources.
  10. Educate teams on government contracting nuances.
  11. Lead strategic initiatives as assigned.
Qualifications

Ideal candidates will have strong organizational skills, experience with government contracting or project management, and the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • US Work Authorization required.
  • 8+ years of healthcare government industry experience.
  • PMP certification preferred.
  • Experience managing complex workstreams in team environments.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Smartsheet, SharePoint.
  • Ability to mentor others.
Compensation & Benefits

Estimated base salary: $170,000-$225,000. Total with incentives: $212,500-$292,500. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, wellness programs. Salary details comply with applicable laws and are subject to change based on various factors.
