Job summary

Arctic Wolf is seeking a Senior Manager of Adversary Research to lead a team that discovers and analyzes sophisticated cyber threats. You will shape the research strategy and drive investigations across endpoints, networks, and malware, turning findings into actionable intelligence and durable detections for customers and executives.

The role requires deep threat intelligence experience, strong leadership, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in cyber threat intelligence or related field.
• 3+ years leading people or research programs.
• Experience translating threat intel into detections and actions.
• Strong written and verbal communication for executives.
• Familiarity with MITRE ATT&CK and Diamond Model.
• Experience with large-scale data analysis and open-source data.

Responsibilities

• Define strategy and operating model for the Adversary Research team.
• Lead and develop threat researchers and analysts.
• Direct research into nation-state and cybercriminal threats.
• Oversee proactive hunting across large telemetry.
• Establish standards for actor tracking, attribution, and confidence.
• Develop detections, tooling, and research outputs.
• Collaborate with threat hunting, IR, and product teams to operationalize findings.
• Produce intelligence for technical and executive audiences.
• Brief senior leaders and customers on threats and results.
• Engage with external researchers and industry peers.
