Job summary

Grant Thornton in the United States is seeking a Senior Offensive Security Consultant to lead adversarial testing engagements across industries. This hands-on role involves simulating real-world attackers, validating defenses, and translating findings into actionable remediation for executives and technical teams.

You'll collaborate with the Cyber Defense team, perform pen tests, adversary emulations, assume-breach, and AI red teaming, and contribute to methodology and mentoring while working in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• 3 years of hands-on offensive security experience.
• Demonstrated expertise across network, application, cloud, or internal infrastructure testing.
• Strong understanding of MITRE ATT&CK, ATLAS, and OWASP.
• Experience with adversary emulation and assume-breach engagements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Penetration testing of network, application, API, and cloud environments.
• Design and run adversary emulations to validate controls.
• Conduct assume-breach engagements testing detection, response, containment.
• AI red teaming of AI/ML systems and LLM apps.
• Threat emulation mapping to MITRE ATT&CK.
• Produce clear, business-focused remediation reports; present to stakeholders.
• Serve as trusted technical advisor to clients on risk and remediation.
• Contribute to methodology, tooling, automation, mentoring.
