Saint Mary’s University of Minnesota seeks a seasoned Assistant Vice President of Advancement to lead the university’s fundraising program and day-to-day operations of the Office of Advancement. The AVP partners with the VP for University Relations to expand major gifts, planned giving, and donor stewardship across a nationwide donor base.

The AVP will guide strategic initiatives, budgets, staff development, and performance metrics, while serving as a senior advisor to university leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 8+ years of fundraising experience with major gifts
• Experience with Blackbaud Raiser's Edge NXT or similar advancement CRM
• Strong leadership, discretion, and confidentiality in handling donor information
• Ability to develop and oversee comprehensive fundraising strategies and campaigns

Responsabilités

• Provide strategic and operational leadership for the Office of Advancement and alignment with fundraising priorities
• Develop and execute comprehensive fundraising strategies, annual operating plans, and long-range goals
• Lead Advancement operations, budgeting, staffing, and performance管理 (oversight)
• Manage a major gifts portfolio and cultivate donor relationships for transformational gifts
• Oversee planned giving program integration with marketing and donor education
• Plan and support fundraising campaigns and trustee engagement
• Ensure data integrity, reporting, and analytics within CRM systems
• Collaborate with university leadership and volunteers to advance philanthropic priorities
