Job summary

International SOS Government Medical Services, Inc. seeks Advanced Practitioners (PA/NP) to support on-site medical care for US government employees and contractors in Iraq.

Clinicians will provide primary, urgent, and initial emergency care, with leadership of clinic staff and collaboration with physicians. Responsibilities include patient assessment, chronic condition management, vaccinations, health education, and coordination with evacuation teams.

Qualifications

• BLS and ACLS certifications are required.
• Must read, write and speak English effectively.
• Experience with EMR and MS Office applications preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of recent medical experience, including 6 months within the last year.
• Experience on a military site as a government subcontractor or prime contractor is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee medical staff at a DOS/DOS healthcare clinic.
• Collaborate with on-site physicians, other APPs, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care.
• Assess and stabilize patients requiring urgent or emergent care.
• Provide comprehensive primary and continuing care for a wide range of health concerns.
• Manage clinic services including vaccinations, health promotion, and patient education.
• Coordinate with medical evacuation teams for higher-level care when needed.
