Job summary

International SOS Government Medical Services, Inc. seeks Advanced Practitioners (PA or NP) to deliver a full spectrum of medical care for US government personnel in Iraq.

You will lead clinic staff, collaborate with physicians and support teams, and participate in urgent and initial emergency care, preventive health, and vaccinations. Applicants must hold US licensure, BLS/ACLS, NCCPA or NP certification, and English proficiency.

Qualifications

• Full unrestricted U.S. licensure, certification, or registration in the United States (state, territory, or DC).
• BLS and ACLS certification or equivalent.
• Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Experience on a military site as a government contractor is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee medical staff at a DOS/DOS healthcare clinic.
• Collaborate with on-site physicians, APPs, and support staff for seamless patient care.
• Assess and stabilize patients requiring urgent or emergent care.
• Provide comprehensive primary and continuing care to patients with diverse health concerns.
• Coordinate with medical evacuation teams for care beyond clinic capabilities.
• Maintain compliance with site procedures and training requirements.
• Participate in MASCAL exercises and regulatory audits.
