Job summary

International SOS Government Medical Services, Inc. seeks Advanced Practitioners (PA/NP) to provide primary and urgent care for US government employees and contractors in Iraq.

You will lead clinic staff and coordinate with on-site physicians to deliver comprehensive medical services and emergency response. Clinical duties include disease prevention, patient education, vaccinations, and chronic disease management, with a focus on safety, compliance, and mission readiness.

Qualifications

• Full unrestricted U.S. (State) Licensure, Certification, or Registration required.
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) or equivalency.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English to effectively communicate.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and Electronic Medical Records (EMR).
• Minimum 5 years’ recent experience including 6 months within the last year.
• Experience on a military site working as a government subcontractor or prime contractor is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee medical staff at a DOS/DOS healthcare clinic.
• Collaborate with on-site physicians, APPs, and support staff to ensure seamless patient care.
• Participate in assessment and stabilization of patients requiring urgent or emergent care.
• Provide comprehensive primary and continuing care to patients with a wide range of health concerns.
• Coordinate with medical evacuation teams for patients requiring care beyond clinic capabilities.
