Job summary

The role requires hands-on optimization, cross-functional collaboration, and a track record of continuous improvement in manufacturing environments. You will manage MRL items, analyze data, and mentor the team while aligning with safety standards and industry specifications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 12+ years relevant experience.
• Experience in advanced manufacturing and lean principles.
• Strong knowledge of welding, brazing, machining, additive manufacturing.
• Knowledge of AWS D17.1 and AMS2750.
• Familiar with GD&T concepts and symbols.
• Experience with data analysis and statistical process control.
• Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Experience with NX or similar CAD software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee advanced manufacturing processes to ensure quality, efficiency, and productivity.
• Develop and implement strategies to optimize production processes and drive continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement advanced manufacturing technologies and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Manage Manufacturing Readiness Level (MRL) items to meet IPDS goals.
• Analyze manufacturing data and metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.
• Interface with Engineering and Sourcing to identify Suppliers meeting capacity, cost, and capability goals.
• Identify and manage new product assembly, test, or tooling Capital needs.
• Drive DFM (Manufacturing, Assembly, Test, Lean) activities.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to team members.
