Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years in industrial control system design and implementation for metal stamping and automated manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Rockwell Automation and Siemens platforms, including PLC programming, HMI development, and network configurations.
• Strong understanding of machine safety standards (ANSI/RIA R15.06, NFPA 79, ISO 13849).
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to dynamic project demands.
• Proven track record of leading complex projects in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Willingness to travel as required, typically ~25%.

Responsibilities

• Lead Control System Design for metal stamping presses and related equipment.
• Own the Technology: architect, program, and implement PLCs, HMIs, and networks (Rockwell first, Siemens possible).
• Drive Process Excellence by refining manufacturing processes with cross-functional teams.
• Innovate & Improve by analyzing performance and applying cutting-edge automation.
• Champion Safety through machine risk assessments and ANSI/NFPA/ISO compliance.
• Mentor & Lead: provide technical direction and guide teams to on-time, high-quality delivery.
