Job summary

Honeywell Aerospace US LLC in Minnesota seeks a Senior Manufacturing Engineer for the mirror fab area to provide test and manufacturing support for sub components in RLG and TGP lines. You will drive yield improvements and support process capability with Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.

You will troubleshoot issues, develop process improvements, and help scale new glass cleaning and deposition steps while maintaining factory capacity and efficient workflow.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline such as Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics.
  • 2+ years experience or Advanced degree in Engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

  • Provide test and manufacturing support for sub components in the Ring Laser Gyro (RLG) and Tactical Guidance Products (TGP) production lines.
  • Perform yield and performance data analysis to monitor process capability, product health trends and drive yield improvements.
  • Utilize CAMP, Lean, and Six-Sigma methodologies to govern engineering standard work practices.
  • Investigate and resolve technical issues, facilitate issue identification and analysis.
  • Develop improvements in product design and in the manufacturing and assembly processes for cost and cycle time reductions.
  • Assist development of new processes for cleaning glass substrates for thin film deposition.
  • Support knowledge for test equipment and preventative maintenance plans to maintain factory capacity and efficient product flow.
  • Facilitate a self-driven work force culture to achieve RTY, BIQ, COPQ, and other SQDIC goals.

The ISC Engineering Mirror team is looking for a Sr Manufacturing engineer the mirror fab area

Responsibilities

Qualifications
MUST HAVE
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics
  • 2+ years experience or Advanced degree in Engineering discipline

The annual base salary range for this position is $102,000 - $127,000. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline. Honeywell considers various factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.
