Main Responsibilities
- Provide direct input to the Simultaneous Development Team (SDT).
- Provide manufacturing feasibility assessments for product design, engineering changes, scope changes, and quality concerns.
- Develop process flow and plant layout requirements.
- Review product gaging and packaging strategies and assess the impact on overall manufacturing strategy.
- Define capital equipment and tooling required and maintain adherence to program budget.
- Project manage procurement and acceptance of required equipment & tooling.
- Facilitate implementation of production equipment/tooling into the manufacturing facility and provide corresponding technical training.
- Complete Process FMEA and manage RPN risks.
Additional Responsibilities
- Assess product, process, equipment, and tooling strategies for potential ergonomic concerns and manage action items to resolve.
- Support customer part needs through pilot, testing, run‑at‑rate and internal process sign‑offs.
- Create and support continuous improvement projects.
Specific Requirement
Education: Bachelor's Level Degree in Science or Mechanical, Manufacturing, Chemical Engineering, Plastics, or Engineering Technology required (BSME, BSMET, or similar). Equivalent work experience may also be considered for certain positions.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years minimum experience in manufacturing engineering, advanced manufacturing, process engineering, tooling, or similar.
- Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which might require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces.

- Experience in any of the following areas is a plus but not a necessity:
- Vacuum forming (IMG, IMGL, & IMGS)
- Press lamination & automated edge fold
- Robotic laser scoring
- Robotic laser drilling
- Robotic glue application
- Robotic milling
- Robotic flaming
- Robotic drilling
- Camera vision inspection
- Vibration welding
