Job summary

Brunswick Corporation is seeking an experienced engineer to join the Boat Group Technology Center in Edgewater, FL. You will design fiberglass, mechanical, electrical, laminate and structural systems for marine applications using CAE tools to create 3D surface models and develop complex mechanisms.

You will lead design development, coordinate with suppliers, validate designs against cost and performance targets, and support manufacturing launches for new boats and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Generate 3D surface models of decks, liners, and small parts for 5-axis milling and tooling design.
• Serve as the engineering lead during design development.
• Design, engineer and validate hinges and mechanisms for supplier fabrication.
• Support industrial design with space-claim analysis and feasibility studies.
• Provide material specifications for sourcing new components.
