Job summary

Brunswick Boat Group is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design and implement electrical systems for existing products, using CAE tools, and ensuring quality and manufacturability. The role involves creating electrical prints, load calculations, and collaborating with propulsion/project teams.

Onsite in Edgewater, FL with about 10% travel, relocation offered. The position requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, 3–5 years of electrical design experience, and CAD

Qualifications

• 3‑5 years of electrical product design experience with knowledge of manufacturing/production processes.
• Bachelor Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
• Proficiency with CAD tools including AutoCAD, Unigraphics, SolidWorks, Capitol, Catia or Pro E.
• 3‑D modeling skills desirable.
• Experience with multiplexing/digital switching, telematics, and marine electronics desirable.
• Knowledge of ABYC standards.
• Boating experience is desired.
• Commitment to quality and industry standards.
• Ability to interface with multiple departments and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Define requirements and component specifications for electrical panels, wiring harnesses and electrical systems
• Design main, distribution, switch and instrument panels for AC and DC electrical systems
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and update designs accordingly
• Create and validate load calculations based on ABYC/IOS/CE and Australian standards
• Provide on-floor support and assist with prototype builds and ECNs
• Collaborate with suppliers and project groups to ensure quality and value
