Job summary

Brunswick Boat Group Technology Center is seeking a qualified Mechanical Engineer to drive mechanical system design for marine products. You will develop 3D models, review specs, and collaborate across functions to deliver manufacturable solutions.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (or related) and 5+ years in marine product design, with NX CAD, FEA, and design validation experience. This onsite role in Edgewater, FL offers growth and a discretionary bonus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years in marine product design preferred.
• Strong knowledge of production processes and system-level engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead mechanical system design across fluid, structural components, and complex mechanisms.
• Review specs, drawings, and ECNs ensuring cost/performance alignment.
• Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturing, and service to support launches and issues.
• Mentor junior engineers and lead design reviews.
• Validate designs using warranty data, testing, and regulatory checks.
• Support sourcing and QA by verifying materials and specs.
