Job summary

Warner Bros. Discovery is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and deliver scalable, cloud-native solutions powering our advertising technology stack. You will build services for ad-serving, campaign management, and data pipelines across large-scale datasets.

You will work with Java/Scala/Python, cloud platforms, and big data tools, contributing to platform modernization while mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with product teams.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Software Development & Integration: Build and maintain services for ad-serving, campaign management, and identity systems. Develop APIs and integrations with third-party AdTech partners and data providers.
• Data Engineering: Design and implement ETL pipelines and real-time data processing for ad performance, forecasting, and yield optimization.
• Platform Modernization: Contribute to migration of legacy systems to modular, cloud-native architectures. Implement observability, security, and compliance best practices.
• Collaboration & Mentorship: Partner with product and operations teams to align technical solutions with business goals. Share best practices and mentor junior engineers when needed.
