Job summary

Comcast in Reston, VA is seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect to shape the technical strategy for Freewheel’s ad tech platforms. You will translate business goals into scalable, cloud-native designs across streaming, measurement, and revenue systems while partnering with Product and Technology leadership to drive value and protect reliability.

Ideal candidates have 15+ years in software architecture, hands-on cloud and security experience, and a track record turning complex requirements

Qualifications

15+ years in software architecture/engineering.
5+ years leading distributed, high-scale systems.
Experience with ad tech platforms (SSP/DSP) preferred.

Responsibilities

Serve as architecture interface between Product and Engineering to design end-to-end solutions for streaming, ad server, and measurement platforms.
Produce architecture blueprints and ADRs balancing speed with maintainability and extensibility.
Guide product-aligned architecture roadmaps and sequencing to deliver measurable business value.
Provide hands-on design leadership for cloud-native systems including Kubernetes, microservices, security, and cost controls.
Review and ensure designs with internal teams and third-party suppliers.
