Job summary

Stanford University is seeking a Senior Assistant Director of Admission for International and Internal Relations. This role supports the admission process for undergraduate and graduate applicants, operating in a hybrid environment in Stanford, CA.

Responsibilities include evaluating applicants, managing projects, conducting information sessions, and strengthening relationships with universities, students, and alumni while assisting with program budgets and staff supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2 years relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational, planning and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Read, evaluate, recommend and advocate to the Admission Committee on applicants for admission.
• Act as project manager on medium to large projects with plans, timelines and objectives.
• Conduct informational sessions for internal and external communities.
• Manage geographic territory by researching demographics and presenting findings.
• Develop relationships with secondary or university personnel, students, parents and alumni.
• Represent unit at events, meetings and committees.
• Administer or manage a specific program and/or program budget.
• May supervise staff.
