Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking a Senior Admissions RN to coordinate admissions and bed placement across departments at the Swedish First Hill campus in Seattle. The role involves chart review and direct communication to ensure appropriate bed criteria are met and smooth patient flow.

You will collaborate with nursing, physicians, EVS, and leadership to remove barriers and improve access. Ideal candidates have a BSN or are actively pursuing one within two years, and hold a Washington RN license

Qualifications

• BSN is preferred; applicants without BSN must pursue within two years of hire.
• Washington RN license required at hire.
• 5 years of RN experience in ED/ICU or 5 years in Acute Care Inpatient Nursing.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate admissions and bed placement for patients requiring admission across departments.
• Collaborate with nursing, physicians, EVS, clinical resource office, Administrative Supervisor, Leadership, and other facilities to optimize patient flow and reduce barriers.
