Job summary

Providence Swedish is seeking a Senior Admissions RN to coordinate admissions and bed placement across ED, direct admits, surgical spaces and transfers. You will perform chart reviews or calls to clarify bed criteria to assure timely and appropriate placement, collaborating with nursing, physicians, EVS, and leadership.

Qualifications

• Must hold Washington RN license at hire.
• 5 years RN experience in ED/ICU or 5 years Acute Care inpatient.
• BSN must be pursued within two years of hire and continued employment contingent on BSN attainment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate admissions and bed placement for patients.
• Review charts and/or call to clarify bed criteria for appropriate placement.
• Collaborate with nursing, physicians, EVS, clinical resource office, leadership, and other facilities to improve patient flow.
