Job summary

Stanford University is seeking a Senior Assistant Director of Admission focused on the QuestBridge college match process. The role, reporting to the Assistant Dean of Admission for Access and External Relations, will administer and interpret admission policies and manage program components.

Responsibilities include leading the QuestBridge program, data management, cross-team communication, outreach and yield initiatives, and supervising paraprofessionals supporting access programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 2 years relevant experience or combination of education and relevant experience.
• Experience in higher education selective admission preferred.
• Knowledge of Slate (desired).
• Knowledge of InDesign (a plus).
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Read, evaluate, recommend and advocate to the Admission Committee on which undergraduate and graduate applicants to consider for admission based on current university priorities.
• Act as project manager on medium to large sized projects/programs by establishing and executing project plans, timelines, tasks, and objectives.
• Conduct informational sessions for internal and external communities on a variety of subjects (e.g., student life, research, internships, athletics, admissions).
• Manage assigned geographic territory by researching, compiling and analyzing demographics data; create proposals for outreach and present findings to management with recommendations.
• Develop and strengthen relationships with secondary or university personnel, professional organizations, students, parents and alumni.
• Serve as a resource to other departments; represent unit/department at activities and events, meetings, committees and conferences.
