Job summary

Miami University’s Office of Admission seeks an energetic, creative, and collaborative Admission Counselor to lead first‑year recruitment. In partnership with the admission team, you will manage a recruitment territory, travel regionally, review applications, and help meet enrollment goals.

You will assist with outreach to underrepresented and international students, coordinate on‑ and off‑campus visits and events (Bridges, Summer Scholars), and oversee the group visit program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required by start date.
• Senior needs Bachelor's + 2+ years recruitment or a Master’s + 1 year.
• May gain experience during degree completion.
• Must be able to travel and hold a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Manage a first-year recruitment territory, including 6–8 weeks of travel.
• Assist with on- and off-campus visits and events for diverse students.
• Coordinate the group visit program and campus recruitment events.
