Job summary

Sedgwick Claims Management Services Ltd in Ohio seeks a Sr Adjuster/Marine Surveyor to investigate and adjust property and casualty claims with minimal supervision. This role covers residential and commercial claims, with telecommuting options in Ohio.

You will inspect and investigate claims, review policies, prepare repair estimates, interview claimants and witnesses, negotiate settlements, and manage subrogation as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• IIA-AIC designation required.
• Appropriate state adjuster license required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect claims and contact involved parties promptly.
• Investigate claim circumstances for coverage and damages.
• Examine policies to determine coverage.
• Prepare estimates for repair or replacement costs.
• Conduct interviews with claimants and witnesses.
• Negotiate and settle both 1st and 3rd party claims.
• Maintain client relationships to encourage referrals.
