Job summary

Lyten, Inc. is seeking an experienced Additive Manufacturing Technician III to join the AM production team. You will own builds end to end on industrial FFF/FDM printers, from file prep to post‑processing, with a focus on quality and root‑cause analysis.

This hands‑on role is on‑site and requires strong maintenance, calibration, and training skills. You will also help scale capabilities by installing new printers, refining processes, and creating repeatable workflows.

Qualifications

• Must have hands‑on experience with industrial or production‑grade FFF/FDM printers.
• Experience reading engineering drawings and GD&T is preferred.
• Ability to troubleshoot printers independently and propose corrective actions.
• Strong safety and documentation practices a must.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run industrial FFF/FDM printers, including file prep and calibration.
• Install, bring up, and qualify new machines and processes.
• Perform daily to weekly preventive maintenance and calibration tasks.
• Manage materials with good lot traceability and storage discipline.
• Perform post‑processing and finish parts to drawing requirements.
• Lead root cause analysis on failed builds and document outcomes.
• Train and mentor staff; develop work instructions and checklists.
