Job summary

SoloPoint Solutions, Inc. is seeking a seasoned engineer to own post-build technical execution in metal additive manufacturing, performing quality evaluations to ensure parts meet requirements immediately after printing.

You will develop, program, and optimize post-processing workflows, including furnace cycles and wire EDM, and lead structured experiments to improve process capability and repeatability. The role requires 8+ years in metal AM or advanced manufacturing, a related degree, and US

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial/Manufacturing Engineering or Materials Science.
8+ years in metal additive manufacturing or advanced manufacturing.
Strong GD&T and dimensional inspection knowledge.
Experience leading structured continuous improvement in manufacturing.
Ability to work on the manufacturing floor with operators.
Experience with 3D metrology and GD&D for volume manufacturing.
Familiarity with NCR and CAPA processes.
US citizen or Green Card required.

Responsibilities

Own post-build quality evaluations including visual inspections and initial assessments to ensure parts meet requirements after printing.
Develop, program, and optimize post-processing workflows including furnace thermal cycles and wire EDM operations.
Lead process capability and repeatability improvements through structured experiments and validation.
Collaborate with EDM technicians, furnace operators, and quality to eliminate handoff gaps and improve production flow.
Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on throughput, yield, and process capability across manufacturing, inspection, and heat treatment processes.
