Serco Inc. seeks a Senior Additive Manufacturing Engineer to support the US Navy Virginia Class Submarine program in the Washington, DC area.

Qualifications

  • Must possess an active DoW Secret security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or other engineering disciplines.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in propulsion component design or development of metallic additive technologies.
  • Excellent communications and analytical skills; able to meet program officials and influence actions to meet milestones.
  • Experience briefing senior leaders.
  • Proficient with MS Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
  • Ability to work in a team and independently, with up to 10% travel.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and develop Acquisition Management solutions on mid-level initiatives.
  • Provide AM engineering consulting and participate in technical reviews.
  • Review and evaluate production design data; prepare and test AM changes.
  • Offer recommendations for risk mitigation and program coordination.
  • Advise on migration, schedule, and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Lead and direct others when needed.
