Job summary

Quest Defense Systems and Solutions, Inc. seeks a hands-on technical leader to direct a gas turbine OEM team, driving design-to-build innovation and rapid iteration across additive and related machining. You will own a range of small gas turbine components from concept to hardware, focusing on speed and scalable production.

Applicants must be U.S. citizens and willing to obtain a DoD Secret/Collateral clearance.

Qualifications

• 5–12 years of hands-on experience in additive manufacturing and gas turbine component engineering.
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering from an accredited university.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Own a diverse array of small gas turbine components from design through delivered hardware.
• Lead rapid build cycles (print→machine→inspect→build→learn) and feed learnings back to engineering.
• Manage non-traditional suppliers across AM, machining, coatings and inspection.
• Deliver flight-worthy hardware by collaborating with design, analysis, test and manufacturing teams.
