Job summary

GoEngineer in Santa Clara, CA, is seeking a Senior Application Engineer with established additive manufacturing experience to independently lead complex applications and act as a trusted technical advisor from discovery through successful customer outcomes.

You will mentor teammates, expand AM skills across polymer and metal processes, deliver demonstrations, and collaborate with partners to resolve technical challenges and drive GoEngineer’s success at customer sites and events.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant application engineering or manufacturing experience.
• Hands-on AM experience with polymer and metal processes.
• Ability to lead complex customer engagements and communicate across engineering, manufacturing, and operations.
• Willingness to travel approx. 30%.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex customer applications and technical engagements with a high degree of independence and ownership.
• Own the technical customer journey from discovery through validation and training.
• Mentor and coach other Application Engineers through technical guidance and knowledge sharing.
• Deliver advanced demonstrations, benchmarks, and customer training sessions.
• Collaborate with technology partners to resolve technical challenges and strengthen expertise.
• Represent GoEngineer at customer sites, partner engagements, and industry events.
