The Office of Addiction Services and Supports (OASAS) seeks an Addictions Counselor 2 to join our multidisciplinary treatment team in New York. You will provide assessment, treatment planning, and a range of clinical services with a degree of independence and limited supervision.

Responsibilities include individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, documentation, discharge planning, and coordination of care for a patient caseload.

Competenze

• Facilitate individual and group therapy.
• Conduct Psycho-Social Assessments as part of treatment planning.
• Must be able to work with high-needs patients and in crisis situations.

Mansioni

• Assess, plan and coordinate treatment with a treatment team.
• Provide or supervise clinical services for patient caseload.
• Maintain records and discharge planning with confidentiality.
• Coordinate care and transport patients as needed.
